By this Order, the U.S. Department of Transportation 1) selects JetBlue Airways Corporation to provide Essential Air Service at Presque Isle, Maine, for the two-year term from September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2028; and 2) grants the community of Presque Isle a waiver from the requirement in 49 U.S.C. 41732(b)(1)(A) to permit JetBlue to operate fewer than two daily round trips, six days per week. JetBlue will provide Presque Isle with seven (7) round trips per week from Presque Isle International Airport to Boston Logan International Airport, using 140-passenger Airbus A220-300 aircraft at an annual subsidy rate of $8,700,000.
