Where our data comes from.
We're consolidating the primary sources of the federal government — executive-branch rulemaking, spending, and announcements, and the legislative branch's bills, votes, and hearings, along with the lobbying and campaign money around them. Everything we show links back to the official source it was mirrored from.
The federal record, at a glance.
Every record type we mirror, its official source, and how much of it we cover — each stated in the source's own terms, whether that's agencies, a Congress, or a filing window.

What agencies do.
Proposed rules and the public comments they draw, official announcements, grant opportunities, and the contracts and assistance the government awards.
Rulemaking and comments
Public comments from every regulations.gov participating agency, plus source-native connectors for FERC, SEC, and FCC. The analysis we add on top — stance, commenter types, campaigns, issues — always links back to the original filing.
Government grants
Federal grant opportunities across Grants.gov, connected to the agencies and policy areas they fund and classified into the same topic taxonomy.
Agency press releases
Verified RSS and GovDelivery feeds, shown beside the formal rulemaking and grant records of the same agencies. Coverage grows feed by feed.
Federal awards
Contract and assistance awards from USAspending — what the government actually pays organizations — with award history attached to the organizations in our record.
Coverage by agency
Where each agency-denominated data type stands today. Grants sync across Grants.gov; rulemaking comments sync from regulations.gov plus source-native connectors for agencies that run their own docket systems; press releases come online feed by feed. Legislative, lobbying, campaign-finance, and award sources are government-wide rather than agency-by-agency, so they don't appear in this matrix.

What Congress does — and the money around it.
Bills, amendments, votes, hearings, and committee work from the current Congress, plus the lobbying disclosures filed with it and the campaign finance aimed at it.
Legislation
The current Congress, mirrored from Congress.gov: bills and amendments, roll-call votes, hearings and witnesses, committees, and member rosters — connected to the same topics and organizations as the executive record.
Lobbying disclosures
Every Lobbying Disclosure Act filing — registrations and quarterly activity, for all registrants and clients — so organization pages show who lobbies, for whom, on what, and for how much.
Campaign finance
Deliberately scoped, not a full FEC mirror: committee totals for PACs connected to organizations we track, plus quarterly rollups of employee giving to candidates and parties.
A live mirror, not a snapshot.
We run a continuous pipeline against each source's official API, feed, or public record system. Active rulemaking records and the current Congress are revisited throughout the day; grants and awards refresh daily; press releases are polled from verified agency feeds; and lobbying and campaign-finance records follow their sources' quarterly and weekly publication rhythms.
For synced rulemaking sources, we mirror the full docket, not a curated slice: supportive comments, opposed ones, form-letter campaigns, and everything between. The analysis we add on top — stance, commenter type, issues — always sits next to a link to the original filing, so you can check our work.
Coverage grows in the open.
We update this page as new sources and agencies come online. The executive and legislative records are already here.
