The Ingleside on the Bay Coastal Watch Association, Inc., Indigenous Peoples of the Coastal Bend, Karankawa Tribe of Texas, and Carrizo/Comecrudo Tribe of Texas, LLC are jointly protesting the proposed Corpus Christi Liquefaction Stage IV Project. They argue that the project is inconsistent with the public interest due to increased energy prices, environmental pollution, and threats to cultural and archaeological resources, and they demand a full NEPA review rather than a categorical exclusion.
