ELY, Nev. — The Bureau of Land Management has issued a decision authorizing the White Pine County Road Department to establish a new five-acre community gravel pit in north Spring Valley, Nevada.
Implementation of the project will provide a local source of gravel and aggregate for maintenance and repair of nearby county roads, including County Road 37 and connecting routes that currently lack a nearby material source. This will improve road conditions, reduce maintenance costs and travel distances, and enhance public safety.
