A REMS framework requiring every trans woman on estrogen to enroll in a patient registry as a condition of access is an extremely dangerous idea in a country where the leading cause of death of our transgender women is murder or suicide due to societal treatment. As an ally of my transgender sisters and a citizen of a country that prides itself on its liberties and freedom, I strongly oppose this bill and the potential for harm it creates.
