Hello, I am writing to speak up about this incredibly harmful proposal. I am a cis female who is very concerned with the increased attack on trans people and their right to exist being recoded as something to be tracked, restricted, relabeled, or administratively erased. I have several trans friends across the gender spectrum and I love them so so much. They are people who love, create, are full of joy, work hard, and are struggling in the face of being treated as "other". They do not deserve the hate and restriction that is being passed across this country. Putting strict restrictions on estrogen prescribed to transgender women is extremely unlawful and will lead to the death of my friends. Several of my friends completely rely on HRT, especially estrogen, in order to live their best lives. They have fought to advocate for themselves in order to receive HRT despite numerous setbacks, including insurance refusing to pay for HRT or doctors unable to prescribe HRT due to restrictions. Putting my trans friends on a list is dangerous for their wellbeing and increases the risk of them being tracked down and killed. I implore the FDA to oppose FDA-2025-P-7321 and to think about the harm they would put our trans sisters if they do not oppose.
