I support this petition to increase mandatory reporting on MRI safety events. In my state there appears to be no body that regulates MRI whatsoever, especially outside of a hospital. While over regulation is always a concern, it is both prudent and extremely reasonable to require more reporting of safety events in MRI. This is especially true light of the enormous and growing pressures to scan more patients at ever faster paces and the anecdotal increase in injuries in MRI.
