Summary: A private individual is expressing strong opposition to the proposed activity of injecting coal waste into or near Lake Michigan. They argue that the Great Lakes must be protected from any risk of contamination due to their importance as a freshwater source.
As a private individual, I am objecting to this activity of injecting coal waste into Lake Michigan, near Lake Michigan or within the shores or Lake Michigan.
The Great Lakes need to be protected at all costs since this is the largest body of fresh water in the northern hemisphere. If there is the least possible risk of contamination, I do not want to worry about possible mitigation if that happens.
I reject this idea wholeheartedly.
