Summary: A community member near Lake Michigan opposes the proposal to dump waste from a nearby coal plant into the lake. They argue that the action is environmentally and ethically negligent and request that the public be allowed to vote on the matter.
I am concerned as well as many in my community near Lake Michigan about proposal of the dumping of waste from a coal plant near me into our precious lake. This cannot be allowed to happen. It is environmentally and ethically negligent to think this will not come to harm us and our children down the road, or the intricate ecosystem. Please open this up to the public to vote on. It’s the right thing to do.
