This project should not go ahead. The area shown on the map is a globally important area for migrating and nesting birds and marine life. Any undersea disturbance will surely have a negative impact on the barrier islands. Much of the shoreline is wildlife management areas, nature conservancy preserve or national wildlife refuge. Additionally local sport fishing, waterman business would suffer from the disturbance of the marine habitat which they rely to make a living. These are hardworking people who's livelihood would likely be negatively impacted. This project should not go ahead.
