I oppose the ATF’s new proposed rule entitled, “Revising Non-Over-the-Counter Firearms Transaction Requirements.” With over 45,000 people dying from firearms every year and firearm related injury being the number one cause of death in American children, the American public needs better protection! The ATF's proposed rule allows more fully remote and online gun sales. Where are the Federal Firearm Licensed dealers? The FFL’s are the first line of defense for the general public against those who should not have a firearm, but this rule completely sidelines FFLs. I oppose this proposed rule and ask the ATF to withdraw it all together. The ATF should be working to make us safer, but this rule would just do the opposite.
