Summary: The commenter supports the proposed action to remove the requirement for advance notification of interstate travel with Short-Barreled Rifles (SBRs). They argue that because these firearms are already registered under the NFA, the requirement is unnecessary and would simplify life for both owners and law enforcement.
YES, please do away with the unnecessary requirement of having to notify in advance of interstate travel with SBRs. These firearms are already registered AND registered under the NFA act. Anybody who owns such an item is not going to be a problem in society. There are many who live in one state and play or have property in a nearby other state. This would make life so much easier for the owners, as well as the law enforcement side of things.
