Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed action, arguing that it would make it easier for people with violent intentions to transport firearms across state lines without notification. They advocate for stronger gun laws and more restrictions on who can carry firearms to prevent violence.
There is nothing more crazy and encouraging of violence with impunity than allowing lethal guns to be taken across state lines without notifying the authorities, as has been the law until now. There is nothing to be gained by anyone except those with lethal evil intentions by letting the former protections go. Even the protections originally there are barely enough. What we need are stronger gun laws as to who can carry them and what kind should be banned to most people except those going to war overseas. We have seen enough school shootings and shootings at mosques, synagogues, and churches. We do not want to make it easier for people with violent intentions to carry their sickening plans out. Congress should be dedicated to protecting the people not easing restrictions for sick-minded evil-intentioned people. If Congress is not dedicated to this, they do not belong in Congress.
