I believe there are some flaws in this proposed law, this would be in conflict with sex listed on many state IDs which could lead to an unwarranted denial of sale causing an unjust deprivation of 2A rights as well it seems like it would be counter intuitive if the goal is to gain as much information as possible for an accurate background check and potentially confirm a background check was completed at a later point in time you would want it to be as accurate as possible due to these i cannot support this law as the second amendment makes no exceptions on the basis of gender identity
