Minutemen of ColoradoOpposeIndividual
Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed action, arguing that it serves no regulatory purpose and creates unnecessary red tape. They claim the rule is a discriminatory measure that does not improve the ATF's ability to identify individuals.
What purpose is being served here? What is the actual regulatory need here, other than letting you cleverly discriminate against trans people in blue states? Why are we constantly told how you're cutting useless regulations but you put out rules like this that appear to serve zero actual purpose other than to create additional red tape? Are you really saying you can't identify somebody by their paperwork the way you've been doing it for decades? When exactly did the ATF lose that ability?
