We oppose to this and believe that this would be detrimental to the entire fabrication and building industry. Whether quartz is made in the US or imported, it contains resins that would have the same impact. There are companies that are imported into the US that have made quartz materials safer with better technology. For example, Silestone and their hybrix quartz materials. In this time of our struggling economy, this would only harm it even further.
