Greetings. I am a fabricator and installer of quartz and natural stone slabs.
I am not in favor of the tariffs being imposed on the quartz products as it will only make homeowners more reluctant to remodel their current homes. Affordability seems to be the latest buzzword in the political arenas. Tariffs will only put more projects out of reach for the typical homeowner. It would be great if we could manufacture the quartz here in the USA, but raw materials are more easily attainable in foreign countries.
Just making the point that tariffs on quartz products will not make the American economy pick up steam again.
