Reference: Quartz Safeguard Investigation and impact of additional tariffs and quotas on quartz products. To whom it may concern, I am a very small countertop fabricator and installer writing regarding the Quartz Safeguard Investigation and the impact that additional tariffs and quotas on quartz products would have on my business and many like mine. The tariffs being considered would have a significant impact on my business and could potentially force us to close or layoff staff. I take great pride in serving my local community and keeping our prices reasonable and affordable for families. Quartz is one of the primary products our customers rely on, and increased costs would directly affect both small businesses and consumers. As a small business owner, I am concerned that these additional tariffs would disproportionately harm independent fabricators and installers who already operate on tight margins. Beyond the impact on businesses, these measures would also affect employees, families, and the communities we serve. I respectfully ask that you reconsider the proposed tariffs and quotas on quartz products and take into account the challenges they would create for small businesses like mine.
