Summary: An individual commenter opposes the proposed action by demanding much more stringent environmental protections and restrictions than what is currently proposed. They advocate for a total prohibition on mining, commercial fishing, and military activity, as well as a transition to public ownership of utilities and socialist economic structures.
I recommend the priorities be only the following:
1. Environmental protections for the ecology, geology and water quality. There should be zero impact on the environment. We would prohibit all mining and extraction activities, especially oil, gas, and especially rare earth ocean floor mining.
2. Ultimate protection for wildlife. This means prohibiting commercial fishing and extreme limiting of marine traffic. Marine vessels must be electric or sail. Under no circumstances would military functions be allowed within 50 miles of coastline.
All economic activity would be of a socialist nature, all utilities would be publically owned
