I have an online business in which I sell shoe inserts for high heels and flats that I invented, patented in Canada , Europe and USA and brand named Killer Heels Comfort, in Canada. They are made from materials sourced from Canada.(Turning tape from Renfrew, Ontario) and USA ( open cell polyurethane foam invented in USA) Manufacturing is in Quebec , Canada The shoe inserts are assembled by me, a grown woman, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada All materials, manufacturing , assembly and packaging are in Canada No child labour or forced labour or slave labour is used. The shoe inserts are one hundred percent CUSMA compliant and can avoid US tariffs but only if I don’t use my local post office, Canada Post, which is 13 minutes walk from my house, instead I have to use a courier Stallion Express that has one Ottawa drop off point available for drop off three days a week, diagonally across town from me that takes 2.5 hours by bus, light rail, and bus, and return by bus, light rail and bus. I’m bitter that I cannot use my postal service that I pay for to ship my clearly CUSMA complaint shoe inserts without charging my US customers an onerous, unreasonable fee for having a successful business that sells globally including to the USA Do something so I can ship my products by Canada Post CUSMA exempt.
