Eversource Gas Company of Massachusetts, NSTAR Gas Company and Yankee Gas Company, each d/b/a Eversource Energy (collectively, “Eversource”) appreciates the opportunity to provide comments on the proposed changes to 49 CFR 191 and 192, which are intended to enhance the proposed regulations without compromising the shared goals of safety, reliability, and system integrity. The comments herein are to the proposed regulations in the notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM), PHMSA docket number PHMSA-2021-0046, and the Gas Pipeline Advisory Committee (GPAC) meeting held on May 28, 2026.
