I strongly disagree with these changes. We are facing unprecedented challenges in not only the U.S., but in the world. These challenges caused by a warming climate especially are not localized and have grave impact throughout the world. Investment in and sharing of scientific research is critical to continuing the prosperity of the U.S. This critical research must remain independent of politics, and rather help inform our shared national interests through the rigor of scientific processes and expertise.
