Summary: An individual commenter opposes the proposed changes, arguing that they compromise public safety in favor of corporate profit. The commenter expresses concern that the changes violate safety culture mandates and could lead to industry destruction in the event of a reactor accident.
If I understand the changes, it is the Commission's belief that a melted reactor is now acceptable??? Nice way to sacrifice the public's safety so companies can profit more.... Please explain how this doesn't violate the Commission's own safety culture mandates. If safety is the Commission's guiding principle, then how can these changes be viewed as positive. All Members of the Commission legacy will be the destruction of the industry WHEN the bad day happens, as it isnt a matter of IF, but a matter of when. Especially considering the drone warfare and the Iran war.
