Hi, My name is Noah Dailey and I am a rock climber from California who supports fixed anchors in the wilderness and rock climbers’ right to be able to decide when and where we can place life saving bolts. Can you think of any sport where the rules are made by those who have never played it? If the Explore Act mandated wilderness climbing guidance passes, that will be the case for rock climbing—a draconian blow to my passion, way of life, and safety. The founding fathers are surely rolling in their graves seeing this Potential blow to personal freedom.
