Do not allow for fixed bolts for climbing in federal wilderness (especially not national park wilderness). There are so many places where rock climbers can climb on public and private lands. There are so few places protected with the importance of national park status, and even fewer places that are wilderness within national parks. This wilderness in our national parks is part of what makes these places special. And they are the last of their kind in this country. Please do not allow for the destructive creation of anchors in wilderness. If climbers want to climb here, let them climb as humans have always done - without anchors. There are available gear that is removable and though it takes greater skill to learn how to use these safely, so should be the extra efforts involved in the privilege of climbing in wilderness within national parks. Please please do not put up anchors in national park wildernesses.
