Hello.
I write this as a plea to not consider passing any regulations to allow fisherman to harm sharks or any marine life. Sharks already have obtained a bad outlook based upon numerous different forms of media which has affected people’s views of them. This in itself has caused a decline in certain shark species that are deeply important to marine ecosystems. As someone with a degree in Marine Biology, I have researched and seen through my own eyes the harm and fear mongering that is pushed upon them. Please do not allow any regulations to pass that would make things even worse. They are important. They do not deserve this.
