Automatic braking is dangerous. The braking system came on while I was merging into another lane during rush hour traffic, when going under and overpass, when a train came around a curve following the highway, when a car merged onto the highway in the lane next to me, and for no reason at all when there was no one in front of me for miles. It takes control of the vehicle away from the driver. I quit the company I worked for because they use automatic braking.
