As a US citizen I agree with the new proposed increase in fines for illegal immigrants. Increases should be for all illegals that have crossed the border illegally, have overstayed their Visas, or have already been ordered to leave the country. Suggestions-increase the payout out incentive for self deporting. Make the financial incentive much more appealing. Self deportations save millions of dollars as well as safety for our ICE agents. It will encourage more aliens to leave and in the long run save the US tax payers billions of dollars, open up jobs to citizens and get more public safety threats off our soil, more quickly. Our government strategy needs to be modified in order to more quickly get these invaders of democracy out of our country. That’s what we voted for-expedience! Figure out the average cost that it takes to remove an illegal. Pay out 50% of that fee to each illegal who self deports within 3 months of announcement. This is by far the route of least resistance with the greatest benefits for our citizens, our ICE and CBP agents, our entire society. The quicker they are removed the faster and more complete will be the voting rights of all citizens and the elimination of total chaos in our great country.
