As the Executive director of a very small - 35 unit- Public housing agency this puts an additional burden on our efforts to keep our units well maintained. We do not have enough money or need to do large purchases and our maintenance is mostly upkeep or small single purchases. Many times those single purchases are much higher in cost if we are limited to what we can purchase. Also the time it takes to research where and how an item is made can be an issue in the case of urgent need. In the long run the cost factor puts a strain on our already tight budget
