I Continue to support wolf reintroduction
Colorado’s wolf program is accomplishing the purpose of the Endangered Species Act to recover a threatened species – the gray wolf.
Our wolf program is a Conservation success as evidenced by four packs with pups – an accomplishment by any measure.
CPW’s support of livestock producers with nonlethal coexistence tools is the most generous in the country – ranchers are begiining to successfully using nonlethal tools to prevent conflict.
Colorado needs additional wolf reintroductions for our wolf population to increase genetic diversity and survive for the long-term. It is critical now to show commitment to the program's success.
