Summary: The commenter supports the proposed project, arguing that it will provide housing, jobs, and tax revenue for the Town of Lady Lake. They advocate for the expedited processing of permits, viewing the current regulatory requirements as unnecessary bureaucracy once environmental studies are complete.
I don't even understand why someone have to apply for permits related to sand skink removal. It feels like unnecessary bureaucracy that adds time and cost without providing meaningful value once all of the required environmental studies have already been completed. I believe this project is a great opportunity for the Town of Lady Lake. It will bring new Sr.housing, create jobs, generate tax revenue, and contribute positively to the community. I fully respect the environmental regulations, but once the required mitigation measures have been addressed, I believe the approvals should move forward without unnecessary delays. I hope the remaining permits can be processed as quickly as possible so this project can move forward and begin delivering its benefits to the community.
