AI and photo estimates are being manipulated by insurance companies to under indemnify customer. This is intentional. This process represents extreme negligence by the insurance companies. As a collision shop manager I have seen many customers that were forced to use these AI platforms to obtain an initial estimate estimate for their vehicle damages. Many of these vehicles have safety systems compromised that the customer doesn’t realize and AI doesn’t recognize . This poses extreme risk to the public
who are actually driving these vehicles on public roads.
