People with disabilities are customers in need of transportation, and the regulations are not protecting us, people with disabilities, by stripping us of our right to transportation. I am blind and I use the service to get to and from work every day which equates to a CTA commute of two hours and 15 minutes as well as an increase in danger along the way. Try blindfolding yourself and getting to and from work safely every day, then see whether these regulations are protecting the public as some of the ableists here have said.
