The FTA proposed an update to its policies on December 30 which would significantly change the requirements for Uber to work with Transit agencies. If this happens, there would be an unacceptable reduction in service and people could lose access to the reliable transportation they count on through Uber’s partnership with their transit agency (The Ride) The hardship resulting from this policy change would fall especially hard on disabled elders.
