Summary: An individual commenter expresses strong support for Jenifer Sanchez Vilchis's application for a Commercial Driver's License exemption. They argue that DACA recipients contribute significantly to their communities and that removing their ability to hold a CDL is unfair and hinders essential community functions.
I am in favor and strongly support Jenifer Sanchez Vilchis; Application for Exemption [Docket No. FMCSA-2025-0886] I 100 percent agree with DACA Recipients being able to retain and obtain their CDL Class B License. These individuals have spent years contributing to their communities, paying taxes, and serving in many essential roles. It is cruel and unfair to just take their licenses away. This action has caused damage to many people who have done everything legally to be able to work in our country, who also contribute in paying taxes. It has stopped many essential functions in our communities and has made it harder for people to provide for their families. We should be creating pathways that recognize their contributions to society, not barriers that take away opportunities from people who have done everything legally to be able to stay and work in this country. I ask that you please take my comment into consideration so we can help DACA recipients with their CDL Class B license. Thank you
