I respect Secretary Duffys decision on banning non english speaking drivers from our roads as well as cabotage regulations, but I believe the ruling was unfair and made a mistake when it comes to DACA recipients being banned from commercial driving. I have had my Commercial drivers license since 2014 and took my job and career very serious. English has been my second language since age 3 and being a diesel mechanic has been a passion of mine ever since I fell into it in 2012. I think it's unfair and not a balanced ruling. Yes to the english speaking rules and regulations but DACA recipients clearly speak english and have a clean record. Enforcement is needed and a cleaning was long over due but DACA folks are being thrown out for no reason.
