As a pastor, community member, and passionate citizen, I strongly support granting this exemption. DACA recipients are valued members of our communities who work hard, pay taxes, and contribute to our economy. This exemption would allow qualified, experienced commercial drivers to continue supporting themselves and their families without compromising public safety. These drivers already meet the same training and licensing standards as other CDL holders. Keeping skilled workers employed benefits employers, local communities, and the transportation industry. I urge FMCSA to approve this exemption.
