Hello. My name is Stacy and As a CDL class B driver myself (School Bus Driver) for 13 years and as a DACA supporter I will like to say that many of my coworkers and I’m sure people all over are being affected by these rules & regulations. Class A drivers and Class B drivers are totally different. We transport the most precious cargo from home to school and from school to home. We go through many hours of training yearly to keep up with our class B license. Study, and work hard to keep or license and renew our written and driver test every 5 years. We are hired by School Districts. We work with general Ed children and Special needs children. We are nowhere near the same or fall into the same category as Class A drivers. I feel like we as Class B drivers should be excluded from all this mess that’s going on. It’s not fair that because of Class A drivers all Class B drivers are being affected. Many Class B drivers haven’t been able to work for months due to their license being taken away. Not only school bus driver but city drivers are being affected as well. So please!!! Make this change. Let them go back to work. They have families to support and jobs to come back to and children the miss their school bus drivers.
