Summary: The commenter argues that school bus drivers (Class B) should be regulated differently than Class A commercial drivers due to the specific safety requirements and local oversight involved in transporting children. They recommend separating the two license types to allow Class B operators to work without the restrictions of federal regulations.
School bus drivers are diferent from class A comercial licence. Class A comercial driver's is where the hole issue started and this operators are not as much regulated than Class B comercial drivers. Clas B comercial/ with endorsment of school Bus drivers training is much complex related on the safety area where we transport kids and supervice by the City who contract the company operating the contract also by CHP and DMV We have to pass written test on DMV and CHP written and Driving test. Also first aid training. I really recomend to separate the two types of comercial license and have the operators affected on class B have the oportunity to work with out the restrictions of the federal regulations.
