Summary: The commenter is a school bus driver who argues that their Commercial Driver's License (CDL) should not have been revoked due to new regulations. They contend that they already undergo rigorous, certified training and maintain strict safety standards required by their school district.
I’m a school bus driver with a pending application that’s grants me a work permit C14 and due to the new regulations I had my CDL revoked. As a school bus driver we go to a different training since we work with kids around us and we have to constantly go to clases that are in English to keep our credentials up to date. Considering it a district job there are very strict and make sure our license are legit and the training we have and other permits are also done properly and certified places. So it’s hard for us to even trick and try to take short cuts to get our credentials renews which most of them expire every 2 years like our first aid and physical “DOT”. Also strict with safety and that we completely understand our environment and every situation that we may encounter.
Don’t understand why we are getting our CDL cancelled when we actually do everything the right way.
