As a bus driver, I believe the training and testing requirements for a Class B license are already extensive and demonstrate a driver's qualifications and commitment to safety. Bus drivers receive hands-on training with certified instructors and must undergo retesting every five years, including evaluations that meet California Highway Patrol (CHP) standards.
