This rule is talking about the driving regulations for people who have epilepsy and seizures. This is a rule that driver licences (to truck drivers) can only be granted to someone who is seizure and epilepsy free. They have to get passed by: remaining seizure free, getting clearance from a physician, passing annual medical checks, report crashes, and carrying a copy of the exemption with medical clearance while driving. A driver must be clear of seizures and have medical documentation. 3. The comment you made with your group and submitted on the website. We agree and deem the regulations necessary regarding being free of seizures. It would not be safe for a driver to have a history of seizures, because it would lead to higher probability of crashes occurring. However, something we disagree with is the fact that there is no reimbursement in regards to getting an annual physician check up. These check ups can be costly, and with people in poverty these check ups may not be possible. Also they have to constantly carry a form of exemption with them. If there were some way to upload these electronically into an accessible system this would make it more convenient for all parties. The reason behind this is that people constantly move or switch places, and carrying documents may be difficult to do, and lead to unnecessary misunderstanding.
