Summary: The commenter opposes a request made by Lonestar, arguing that the request provides an unfair competitive advantage and poses a safety risk to drivers by potentially requiring excessive driving hours without adequate lodging.
The request from Lonestar is without justification. The request makes me question what has Lonestar been doing in the past. Not purchasing adequate lodging is certainly an unfair competitive advantage. Under the explanation/request given, A Lonestar driver could drive 10.5 hours to the response/crash location, then work 10 hours mitigating the scene, and then drive 10.5 hours back home. That does not seem to be in the interest of safety.
