For consideration: The HSEEP documents are a great beginning and have been a standard for years. However, they need to be more able to be manipulated without losing the format. There are so many duplicated and redundant sections in the EXPlan/SitMan, Controller/Evaluator docs, and the AAR. I went to much simpler forms like the placement (Created by the US Coast Guard in my MEP cohort) and a simple AAR template with all of the 32 Core Capabilities built in to delete what you don't want (see attached). I love standards, but I also appreciate simple standards. HSEEP is not scalable and flexible like ICS, and it can be.
I would love to see a more in-depth discussion on each of the 7 exercise types and the minimum paperwork to go with each. Also teaching digital forms and AI use.
