Summary: The commenter supports the ban on mercury amalgams in dentistry, citing personal health issues they attribute to mercury exposure and neurotoxicity. They argue that the government should prioritize public safety over pharmaceutical interests by banning the use of mercury in medical and dental practices.
I can't believe in this day and age, where we KNOW mercury is a neurotoxin, and a potent one at that, that we are discussing whether or not mercury amalgams should be banned. What is wrong with you?
"Medicine" injected mercury into me as a baby. In the 1960s, childhood "immunizations" contained thimerosal, a preservative containing mercury. Though it was unusual at the time, I must have had 40 jabs. I think military children were experimented on back then.
Dentistry placed 8 mercury amalgams in my mouth before my 12th birthday. I felt so grown up because both of my parents had mercury amalgams. My mother died within the next 2 years from cancer.
I've been fortunate enough to travel. With those trips came "immunizations." I'm sure they contained thimerosal too.
According to Andy Cutler, PhD Chemistry, mercury settles in the organs and has a preference for thyroids. Based on the skyrocketing Alzheimer's rates, I'd say it also settles in the brain. Mercury gets passed from mother to child.
I lost my thyroid before my 28th birthday. Too much mercury? I'd say so. But I didn't know about the hazards of mercury yet. Nor did I understand the impact of diet on health. Medicine has kept me sick for over 30 years. I don't think you know much.
Around 2001, a dentist replaced 8 amalgam fillings with 8 new amalgam fillings. I got really sick, but didn't make the connection to the dental work. That came a decade later.
In 2011, I met a Canadian Allergist who told me my fillings were making me sick. He directed me to an IAOMT dentist to have the mercury amalgams removed safely. Then he started me on a chelation protocol. DMSA caused itchy grey spots to appear on my body. So, I looked for other protocols. I learned that the FDS had banned Dr Boyd Haley's OSR a few years prior to the start of my chelation journey. God forbid anyone heal people! So, I spent 10 years following Andy Cutler's Frequent Low Dose Chelation Protocol. It helped. But OSR is better.
How many diseases are created by poisoning the American People? Who is making money doing so? I have a mess in my liver and gallbladder from 1) being on a medicine that didn't work and therefore my body didn't work (metabolize food properly) and possibly 2) the things I've done to remove mercury from my body. I like having a brain that works. It would have been nice to have that 59 years ago.
Once I understood that my shoddy health was caused by bad medicine, I'd worked hard to stay out of medicine's clutches. Safety seems to be a matter of opinion. Drugs and procedures get approved on Pharma sponsored trials and pulled from practice 5-10 years later, after enough people have died.
If you don't ban the use of mercury amalgams, I'll know that you are not looking at the science. You are looking at the money.
You are in a position of authority to keep the American people safe from bad medicine and medical practices. The use of mercury amalgams hurts people. The negative effects may not show for decades allowing plausible excuses of deniability. Mercury is a known neurotoxin, ban its use from dentistry (and medicine in general).__
I have no idea which category this should be filed under. There is not an option for dentistry.
