I am in total agreement that pasture raised eggs should come from chickens raised on pasture only.. I also stand for poultry being processed (WITHOUT) being shot - up or injected with MSG, salt water (saline), Carageenan (Red Seaweed), dyes or any other potentially harmful chemicals as there are consumers that suffer from reactions and allergies to the above listed and more. In most cases these are their only source of proteins. It is also a filthy practice in which we as the consumers are being scammed by weight $ cost $ due to said injections in an effort to add extra ounces and or pounds to the poultry during processing. Not only to fatten the injected meat but to also fatter the wallets of the greedy con artist in question. Furthermore, I am for the removal of said chemicals from any and all animal feed products. As this to is potentially harmful and life threatening to people that have sensitivities. These issues should have been addressed and regulated from day one of poultry and food production. As it is many consumers are unable to injest certain items due to a lacks in regulatory laws. This is not zoned only to poultry. It has become the norm in the production of all food products. Fresh and preprocessing. There are more than just allergies or sensitivities to be concerned with. There is now Alpha-Gal Syndrome. An LGe sugar allergy that is found in a very massive array of processed items and surprisingly Carageenan (Red Seaweed). This is a severely life threatening illness that has been set in the back ground and left to be ignored. This disease can and has caused other sensitivities to arise due to weakening the Autoimmune System. In some people it isn't just about the meats or animal byproducts. It is also about many other dietary items. Such as fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices. I realize that now a days the idea of "Depleting the surplus population" has become the obvious norm. However, as a consumer, an American Citizen and a victim of Alpha-Gal Syndrome with said Autoimmune Disorder. That would very much like to life past 65 years of age. And accomplish this as healthy as possible. It is in my opinion, completely ignorant and totally insane that the human race has put the all mighty dollar above human safety and protection of health and life. We seriously need more backbone in this country than cowardice. I also believe that our foods and food productions should be regulated and overseen the same as the UK and all the other countries that have extreme guidelines and regulatory laws for foods, safety, and product production.
