I pay a premium price when buying Pastured Chicken eggs in my grocery store. I want to be sure I am supporting the farmers who actually raise their chickens in pastures, and not some make believe pasture that is no more than a grassy tent. I also want eggs from chickens that are raised humanely and fed healthy food, for both the chicken's and my family's health.
