Summary: An individual consumer expresses a desire for stricter regulation and oversight of "Pasture Raised" egg labels by the FDA. They argue that such oversight would ensure transparency and prevent false marketing, allowing them to trust that eggs are raised in healthy and natural conditions.
I try to buy my eggs from people who raise their chickens responsibly and in healthy and natural conditions. Often, it is hard to find that, and I would so like to know that the eggs sold in stores that say Pasture Raised really mean that, and it isn't a false marketing hype. It would be so helpful to know that they are regulated and overseen by the FDA, guaranteeing we can trust what the labels say. Thank you for your help.
