The formal and regulated designation of "pasture raised" for eggs or chicken is highly important. This is an important definition to differentiate from "free range" which can be a much lower quality product. It all comes down to the food available. I specifically want a designation I can trust that means actual pasture-raised, low PUFA eggs that have come from hens on wild pasture eating primarily wild food and without feeding if additional corn or soy products. For this quality of eggs I do now and am willing to pay for it.
