I have attached 3 pictures taken from the backyard of a family member. The intrusion which these LED streetlights creates into this backyard is quite strong. Prior to these lights going in, it was possible to see the stars, however since their installation, its no longer possible. Enjoying the backyard at night, is not possible anymore as if you are facing the lights, it can hurt ones eyes.
If there is a heavy fog/low hanging clouds/snow falling, the entire sky is lit with this bright "white dim" now. This was simply not the case prior to the mass installation of the new white colored LED lights.
Additionally, I have seen research that shows how LED lights hit the human eye, and it is different (more direct) than incandescent. We have no idea how these lights are actually effecting us, and our environment. I truly believe that the person reading this has also felt the pain and discomfort from LED headlights as well.
